Game Backups

..as far as i know deamon tools pro requires the installation of an adware module. an old hand i sepose could crack it not to check for the module and work without it, but enough about that, this isn't a 'how-to' thread. ;)
personally i'm using deamon tools lite 64bit, which doesn't require the adware module, so far the deamon team havn't given me reason not to trust them,.
lastly, yes nero and such could burn an iso to a blank but it won't be seen as an original.

Happy to report back that Nero gave me no kark, burned the ISO and Quake II is back to life :D

Antowan: What are you going on about? The new daemon tools have a bunch of searchbar & ad stuff added...all of which you can unselect during install. Nero & Winamp has the same stuff. All the other free tools out there don't offer anything close to the emulation options provided by Daemon. The only real alternative is alcohol = $$$.

Mephisto_Helix: Use mds/mdf for game backups, not ISOs. The only reason it worked this time is because Quake is ancient...all modern games will need a crack if you use ISOs cause ISOs don't support RMPS.
