game maker 6.1???

yo has any one bean able to make a game via this programme??? to me it just to complex without reading the instruction's... im just to lazy to sit down and read wat to do... oh and on a scale form 1 to 10 ( 1 being easy and 10 hard) how hard is it to make a game...
