Although Massmart-owned Makro is holding its own against Takealot’s prices, its sister company, Game, is still lagging behind.

What a rubbish comment, it is about the price, not the model. Both sell tech, and the one is generally cheaper than the other. It does not matter what model they choose to do their selling.

So you're saying that Game works on the more expensive model and cannot be compared to anything else?

I compare prices online before I buy and Takealot's discounted prices often aren't discounted at all, but Game is usually only useful for buying light bulbs at a sort of reasonable price (not much else).

The comparison is useless. Even if Game was less expensive they would probably be out of stock.

Most items cost more than R450, so delivery is free. The one item that is under R400 is still cheaper at Takealot if you add the delivery fee.
