I use lowerping with Axxess 626 and it works really well, 250ms ping most of the time.

One wierd thing that has been happening to me, and maybe someone else has had similar experiences, but when I use my SAIX unshaped account to connect to Lowerping, the connection drops and putty says 'network error'

I get the same results with Gamepath. Also SAIX takes forever to log into WOW and is very unstable without the proxy service.
Has anyone had similar experiences?

Necuno, we have aproached some ISP's who are strong on the gaming side about running a service like this themselves.
The thing is you will never find the most open minded and clever people @ ISPs. Its usually some bastard with money & ****heads helping to run things

i'm actually quite surprised that openweb hasn't gone the openmmo route yet. i know that ods tried and let it died, but apart from that obviously no one else. it is definitely not rocket science to do this if you what to do, sure someone are able to setup a remove server. i guess all your need is a linux based box which accepts ssh tunneling with a decent iptable setup...
