Gamers awarded SA colours

SA Gaming should be advertised better, if there is such a thing... Or maybe a website with some info on how to become the contestant, what games, and more...

MSSA are ruining SA's name. Bad organizing, bad management and a disgusting website.

Can you believe that they are bringing SK Gamings 1.6 counter-strike team to play in the COD4 competition(its true, check their site)? The MSSA paid the overseas team to come win the African continental championships, and apparently they are also paying for SK gaming to to the Kruger Park lol. Imagine if they treated their own local teams that well.

I was awarded National Colours two years ago by the MSSA in an event run by AGASA and I have part of the gaming community for ages. The MSSA and these so called continental championships are being boycotted by the majority of the gaming community due to the bad management by MSSA. Even AGASA has dropped the MSSA for the same reason. The gaming community in South Africa see the MSSA as the enemy, which is not hard to believe if you take a look at who the MSSA are competing with when it comes to other tournament hosts (Battle of the Clans - www.botc.co.za and AGASA - www.agasa.co.za). I know it may be hard to believe, but the gaming community actually hates the MSSA more than they hate telkom at the moment.

It would be nice if one of the journalists would read through the following topic on the SGS forums to get a proper understanding on what Im talking about. Please read all the pages from page one to the last page in order to obtain the full story.

Maybe if you could write a nice article for your home page to educate your readers on whats really going on.

Go SA Gaming....

/agree with inferno
i have participated in the very poorly run mssa events for dota for the past 2 years.
no improvements have been made this year, same old poorly informed, under-educated refs/admins as well as poor communication along with bias judgements.

not supporting their event but grats to ez nonetheless.

LOL at DotA haters. Some people need to come to grips with the reality pertaining to the difficulty and worldwide popularity of pro-level DotA...

For Dota? Puke - no skill involved, just lots of practise, any 12 year old can play it.
Theres a small amount of teamwork but imo is a long shot from being a truely team based game.

ummm, your wrong. Play the game with crap teamies and see how far you get. Also, what game in the world can you not get good at with practice? Just like any sport practice a lot you will go far, yet some people have more talent for things than others. Just like DOTA.

Anyway I eventually got bored of DOTA. Took like 4 years, but I did it. Now I don't play games!
