I got my old man addicted to WOT and he has been playing for the last 13 months.

I ended up building him a fantastic gaming pc and he is really getting into it.

He now needs a gaming grade laptop. Money isn't so much of an issue for the guy.

Please advice?

a tad cheaper, Lenovo Y580 FHD model, around R12K

that is not correct, it is readily available and definitely has not been discontinued.
Now you're talking BS. It isn't even listed on their official website at all!

It is quite a shame that is has been discontinued, because it was the best value for money gaming laptop by far.
 
I have an MSI GT60 and it is a really great laptop.

Very good performance and build quality.
