Gaming Mouse

Got the RAT 7 yesterday...

K/D was like 0.3 when I had it initially setup with the pinky platform and a wide stance, Took the pinky platform off and it went up to about 1, then narrowed the thumb plate and it went up to about 8... Loving how you can see the difference the shape makes and loving this new mouse, thanks TJ99 and all the others.

Sigh i still have my old G500 love it to bits though ... but if i had to get a new mouse i'd prob go RAT 7 or 9 even but yeah
that sniper button really gets me though, love the idea

PS ... can the customisable buttons on the G700 be made to work like the sniper button on the RAT ?

Yes it can. ;) Some call it a MMO mouse mostly due to all the buttons, but I don't play MMO's at all. At first, it was a bit of a learning curve getting used to all the buttons, but now I cant live without it. In FPS I mostly play, all my buttons is assigned to something useful. Claymores, killstreaks, melee, quik DPI down aka sniper button. The shape of the buttons are also excellent. You rest your thumb in the middle of the four side buttons and from there it's just small flick in the direction of the button you want. Example my melee button is top left and I just flick my thumb upwards to press the button. The button doesn't actually go in, more of switch upwards. Great design IMO. The wheel is also great, it switches from free scroll to clicky. Mine's on clicky when gaming and for browsing and general usage it's on free scroll. Great for moving quickly up and down long forums or folders with lots of files in explorer.

Pleasure, glad you're happy with it :)

What mouse pad do you guys use? My black cloth pad doesn't track so lekker. It bounces around quite a bit, not so noticable in game but it gets really floaty in windows.
