Gaming on 1440p

Well that answers that question then, I am using FXAA (the least taxing of all the AA types)

Having said that, the only other setting I didnt have on MAX was the Hairworks, used ON instead of VERY HIGH

Very High produces about a 5 FPS drop. Im sure if you disable Hairworks, you should get away with SMAA

SMAA with purehair set to ON gives 60 fps.

As soon as I bump the AA up further is kills the FPS

Yea, I just tested it again - SMAA (with purehair on the highest) I get ~55fps. Same settings with SSAA 2x and it sits around 30fps.

Gaming on 1440p 144hz in BF1 is delicious on my 1080. :3
Getting exactly the same results as the benchmark graph posted earlier. (probably because I have the same system.)

Haha yes this may be a dead thread, but it is still relevant to me as I have an older motherboard and I am looking at upgrading to a 1440p monitor
