Anyone Gaming with 8ta at the moment whats you speeds like?? Latency?? Any drops in connection?

What platform ps3, pc or xbox ?

Location?

Really want to get the Laptop deal looks like a bargain close to Cellc Prices but with a free laptop!!! :wtf:

Ah.... another PE guy :) I would also like to know about the latency on the 8.ta network. Since I can't connect to the 8.ta network only to the MTN one :cry:

You can't by any chance connect to the 8.ta network bakes1 or are you also stuck permanatly on MTN roaming ?
 
If you going think about gaming for now you going get mtn type of network.thou I used the real 8ta network check my speedtest results for the infor,i did get a B grade ping once.telkom is making a special allocation for 8ta that you guys would and wonder why soon

Whereabouts are you in PE (suburb or landmark)?
 
@ Jono Yup is does work out to a be alot... O worked out for the R540 and 3 Gig cap R11000 +- But its about R7000 for the laptop and that leaves R4000 / 36 months = R111 a Month For 3 Gigs which in turn is only R37 a GB which is not to bad.

Na sorry man im researching before I buy it was going to buy the Cell C one coz alot of mates of mine have it and they have no lag on PC Or PS3 But i really want the LAptop Im Praying Everyday that CellC going to Bundle a Laptop with there Connection but until then its 8ta :erm:

You're willing to sign a 3 year contract with telkom for a laptop???? That's like selling your sole to satan!

If you want the laptop so bad, get a credit card, put the purchase on 2 year budget. Get a Cell C 5gig p/m account. It will save you money and loads of grief.
