Gang opens fire on cops, 6 critical

You really want to arm our police force with high end weapons that randomly go missing? Although it doesn't come much better than an ak 47 for pure carnage.

This is the 1st thing that occurred to me.

...it seems as if genuine fully automatic unlicensed assault rifles were used in this crime.

Who would have thought?

Their lethally sharpened keys and dangerous scissors were unavailable. They decided to use innocuous AK47’s.

Update:

Six police officers were wounded and Constable Manwabisi Gqamane, 25, died later in hospital.

A gang member was killed in the exchange of fire and another wounded.

Police recovered a 9mm pistol and three bags with an undisclosed amount of cash were found in a getaway vehicle.

A 38-year-old woman was arrested on Tuesday night. A bag of coins and six firearms were recovered. Four of the firearms were stolen from the police officers who were shot.
