The PC sales party is over

Gartner has predicted that PCs, mobile phones, and tablets are set for massive sales drops in 2022.

The research firm's analysis has shown that worldwide PC shipments could decline from 342 million units in 2021 to 310 million in 2022, a decrease of 9.5% year on year.

Not sure about this one, seeing as the chip shortage seems to be easing.

The article is a bit thin on details as to why there would be such a significant slump, at the least the easing of the chip shortage should bring prices down and hence flatten out any slump.

With the cryptos crashing sales of motherboards , gfx cards , etc is predicted to drop. Saw it on youtube last week.
