So I have a priest and druid on 80 a Unter and a Death Knight on 74 and a 40 rogue and them some 20 odd alt's of the remaining classes that include a 70 ally /spit Lock. And I must say I'm getin gatvol oof this constant level grind

so play 1 char instead of being an altaholic?:P

ive leveled 2 priests, 1 shaman, 1 druid, 1 hunter, 1 rogue, 1 warrior, 1 mage, 1 warlock, 1 paladin, i will not level another char in many many many months

and you call me a altaholic? :P gimmie a level 80 whit T7 gear ? No spanks you I'll finish watching stargate atlantis instead of playing thanks

Keep 3 level characters and delete the others. WOW is like a drug, you can't just quit by leaving your stash(alts) stuffed behind the toilet. You gotta get rid of them and stick with one or two mains else you gonna level grind your life away dude.

It took me over 3 years to finally found the char i love the most, that being my paladin:) then druid, hunter's where awesome but the nerf now sucks, and i hate survival spec, loved beast mastery. I cannot stand clothies, prefer damage mitigation.

The trick is to focus on one (or max two) character. If there is nothing to do on that character then do something else like watch tv or read a book :)

Pick one class, pick one role, and get good at it. WoW is full of enough terribads with bad gear who can't play their class cause they can't commit to 1.

+1 to you wow4life + skurm :) Agree fully.

Having multiple alts is a recipe for burnout.
I stick to my one class, and try and pimp him out to the max.
It is nice having multiple characters for all the professions, but if you are anything like me, substandard gear would bother me to insanity levels. I would just end up raiding / gearing up the second toon as well.

Ye I've been playing for almost 3 years now and I only have 1 char :p

recently started a Priest as well just for kicks and he's on level 75 now. I do play a lot more with my mage though...

I dont understand why you had to post about it.

If it really does just feel like a grind, well then here is some solid advice. "Log Off"

Thats best way to go I find. I have a lvl 80 mage just for raiding, she's fully specced for the job. After her is a lvl 73 druid and 76 hunter.

I level the other two when it feels fun to do so, but when it starts feeling like a job, I log off. Wow should never feel like a job, we work during the day for that! :)

I got tired of that after wotlk came out... all the work I spent in vanilla and then tbc on my hunter - all my effort wasted when the next expac came out

True true... Killed me DE'ing my full tierred sets in vanilla WoW, but tbh all classes went through it. If you want to reroll, do it when there is a expansion coming out. But then you still sit with the temptation of the original first character lurking your character list... there is just something about your first original toon that makes it very hard to just leave him behind.

If the next expansion was to be announced tommorow, I wouldnt even consider rerolling. :p

You keep learning / adapting with changes Blizz introduce. I hate the direction the game turned to, but when I go pvp'ing in those vanilla BG's I remember what got me hooked :D
