Gauteng province is going to remain in the grasp of the ANC, its president Jacob Zuma said on Friday.

"Those who say Gauteng is going to be taken by some other party are dreaming," he said.

Zuma was addressing hundreds of supporters in Ga-Rankuwa, Pretoria following door-to-door campaigning.

He told them May 7 was the day the party would show its power.

He said the party was a cut above the rest and the only movement to successully have brought the end to apartheid.

"ANC [African National Congress] is different from other parties. We are powerful. It was only us who could defeat apartheid. It's only us who can make SA a better place," he said.

Zuma said the ANC was the only party that could change the quality of life for the people of SA.

"We have a plan to change the quality of life of our people. No one has a plan except us therefore we deserve a two-thirds majority," he said.

How to win an election;

1) Bring food

2) Bring free t-shirts

3) Mention apartheid

Maybe so, but with a reduced majority probably.

I see it going down, if anywhere.

Yes I would love to have seen your inspirational inputs in to ending of apartheid… you tjop!

Still living of the glory of Madiba!

Zuma kan net kaas praat, the man could had attended Madiba's memorial service in UK, but chose to attend a dictator's daughter wedding. This are colonialists and imperialists honouring Madiba. It is a shame how he cannot acknowledge his white country men supporting the end to apartheid.

The people's ANC is long over, this is Zuma's ANC.

Probably. It's going to be fairly close though

Zuma has many flaws. Adding inaccurate ones to the list does not help. Zuma certainly played a big part in the fall of apartheid.
Rather criticise his many, real flaws and errors

The ANC still in control of Gauteng is the sound of 5 million citizens going Boooooooo!, then crying for their beloved province.

Is this giggling clown seriously the best the ANC can come up with?
