Gautrain eyes WiFi launch

Step one would be enabling voice communication at all stations by June 2013.

Phase two would be reception in the tunnel by December 2013, while reception on the whole route would be up and running by July 2014.

The Gautrain spokesperson said that the company has been in discussion with mobile service providers for some time, and it expects to make an announcement in the next month.

Noooooooo, the worst part of any gautrain journey is getting out of the tunnel and everyone's phones going mad...

Oh and to the feckers who have keypad tones and set out to write War and Peace between Malboro and Hatfield I hope you die a cruel and agonizing death followed by rotting damnation in whatever hell there is out there...
