Gear question, please help a noob

Crash changing is fun though... especially when you get it right...

Left foot breaking though, that is just fscking brutal when you're not used to it, especially when the car has amazing brakes and ABS. Tries to rip your damn face off.

Leads to the same issue, no working clutch.
Actually the opposite issue. No clutch cable - clutch remains engaged, engine can power the wheels. Worn clutch - car acts like it is in neutral.

If you insist, I know which one I would prefer if I had to choose.

So do I, and we've had both situations in our household.

I am surprised that one even needs to explain that, that's how Lupus was able to drive for 50kms, you are going nowhere fast without a clutch.

I couldn't change gears and had to rev my car to around 3000 to get it into gear, if the cable was shot or the clutch I can't remember. All I remember is the clutch failed me, close to home smoke started pouring in through the airvents and it cost me a fortune as the gearbox needed work afterwards. This was 2005/2006.
