There are some issues with the postal code. If you pm Gearbest ZA he can guide you depending on where you stay or he can place the order for you (and split the shipping costs) and get it delivered thereafter to you.
Shot, but I have an order on its way to me via Priority Line, and Aramex is handling that delivery (no postal code issues for my location address). When I ordered that time, it stated that Aramex would be the courier.
Now for these small items, I would like to know who the courier is behind this "Middle East Express" - is it also Aramex or other and if it is Aramex, why the name change under Priority Line?

Yes it's also aramex, no idea for the name change and as long as you have no postal issues you good to go. It's a Chinese new year coming up so don't wait too long to order.
I've bought a oneplus 5t from them and cases from 2 different werehouses this year and everything was good came with Aramex on same day

So that's interesting. The Aramex app has already listed my second order with a tracking number and linked it to my email profile. While on the Gearbest site, the second order just says "Packed". So there is clearly a delay between Aramex taking possession of the package and Gearbest sending the shipped email notification and status change on the orders page....

Aramex has multiple services that they offer to shipping companies to send packages world wide. The most well know is that I know of is as follows:
1) Aramex Express - the quickest of their services and most expensive. Item goes from Point A -> Point B directly.
2) Aramex Global Shopper - Starting to take traction. This is a client only service so companies cannot use this to ship to a client. Expensive as they measure per KG and cannot do batteries in China. Point A-> Point B directly.
3) Aramex Priority Line - A few days slower then Express but really cheap to use.
Priority Line is an in between service. Not as fast as Express but still decently quick. I only heard of it from GearBest and it is the only service that I know of that routes through Dubai to South Africa. I know that Amazon also use Aramex but have no idea what agreement or service they use. Maybe they have a service only available to them. When I have asked Aramex locally about the packages and why they are going through Dubai, they have no idea. Hope this information helps.

EXACTLY 4 calendar months for my delivery
Wow payment made on the 1st of October 2017 parcel received today the 31st of Jan 2018. Just a pity I never saw the ox wagon the item arrived in from China.
