No, you misunderstand, im already on live...just not gold!
Only been dabbling on Live for a very short while now and I sent you a pm with some questions doobiwan.
first thing i did when i moved into my new place was lay down some utp from where the roeter and phone is to the living room with a switch behind the TV
Being online with a console adds so much more to it. (and I needed the lan connection for my media PC streaming movies and TV eps)

if Xmas does go down like I'm hoping it does (bonus wise) I'll have a small 32" LCD TV in the room ...... so obviously the Xbox will come and join it

Hmmm..if all goes well I should be getting a 22" LCD for my PC.
The tv downstairs is forbidden territory for games.
