It is perfect as e-Book reader , and screen quality is excellent , we could have saved USD 15 and put in a Resistive Touch screen but opted to rather go Capacitive.

I have been playing with one the whole day in my office , even got it connected with the Geeko 3G modem , you honestly cannot go wrong with this product, watched a movie , Listen to music , surf the web via Wi-Fi and best of all it is durable for kids as it meant for rough handling when kids and parents fight to play with it, It is also very lightweight and easy to carry around.

We already sold 120 units since Wednesday already placed another order for 1000 more units which will be here in January for Back to School.

My suggestion is purchase an extra MicroSD as we did reduce the storage to bring them in at a price point as Flash and memory prices were already high when we placed our order with the factory.

Overall it is a great product priced under R 1000 incl vat

I would love to check one out next time I come by the CT branch. Would they have a demo model there?

You most welcome to go check it out when they get stocks next week ,You will love it

UPDATE: I just installed 10000+free Books and the E-book reader from the Play Store on the Geeko Junior and even I am impressed at the quality , I normally read Real books never E-Books

Will pop into PE branch next week to test out.
Hope they have a demo with some general stuff installed so you can measure performance & usability.
No use testing a stock standard demo.
