Thought it be nice to add some eye candy to my Yosemite desktop but can't seem to get this to work?

Downloaded Geektool then downloaded a geeklet, double clicked on the geeklet which opens GeekTool.

Now what?

Keep meaning to play around with this - but don't quite have the time.

That, and I like to have different desktops across my (several) Spaces - AFAIK that's not really feasible using GT?

So far got some network info, date and time, and "quote" of the day lol.

Actually pretty neat.

Does the template you create, transfer across multiple screens/spaces? I.e. - FWIU it's an overlay added to the desktop background - so can you only have 1 desktop image with the GT info, that is displayed across all the different screens/spaces?

Only gets added to one screen it seems.
I'm still fiddling though, most of the glets available are pretty old.
