I don't think it's bad especially with that price $350 is a lot cheaper than when the 8800gts was launched. For the second fastest card in the range after the 9800gx2 that is excellent.

Now just to hope rand/dollar can stay stable and the local suppliers over decent pricing.

Well, here is another card to spend a couple thousand on and in 2 weeks, another bloody version comes out.
