Something that will undoubtedly turn on the members of the Commission for Gender Equality.
They can really get their heads round it and teeth into it.

Stop stand-up urination for men, Swedish politicians urge

A Swedish political party is taking a stand against upright urination.

At a county council meeting Monday, the Left Party, or Vänsterpartiet, tabled a motion that would require office washrooms to be genderless with a sit-down-only requirement, reported the news agency Tidningarnas Telegrambyrå.

For men who might refuse to comply, party representatives suggested a separate set of toilets clearly labeled for stand-up urination only.

Vänsterpartiet, known as a socialist and feminist organization, believes seated urination is healthier for men and more hygienic for both sexes.

Party speakers cited medical research they said shows men empty their bladders more efficiently while seated. Improved bladder evacuation reduces the risk for prostate problems, according to the party. It also helps men who sit rather than stand achieve a longer and healthier sex life, it said.

Viggo Hansen, a substitute council member who authored the motion, told Sveriges Television that that the move does not represent an attempt to meddle in the bathroom habits of citizens.

"That's not what we're doing. We want to give men the option of going into a clean toilet," he said.

until you pick up venereal diseases on the dirty toilet seat.

Oh god please don't let the ANC see this and give them ideas or we will all be forced to break our toilets and put long drops in our houses and other places.

I demand multiple orgasms if they take away my standing pee rights!

Bugger that. We dont want our members going on unauthorised submarine missions in the water. I say standing room only. Saves space, water & paper.
Ladies, you know you you can do it - for the environment if you must

What's stopping a person from standing in front of the toilet?

Choices are good and this one is more health related I think.

Males have to directly touch their penis every time they pee standing up.
(hand to penis)

Females do not have to touch any organs directly.
(pee directly into toilet)
(wipe with tissue)

All males and females drip and splash depending on
bladder fullness, toilet size or design.

From an observers point of view, I imagine that males
enjoy the ancient traditions of the standing Pee.

- the pleasure of the release of the water out of the body
- gravitationally straight down from the centre of the body
- the joy of a good personal aim at a targeted area
- with expansive views and a ready-for-action posture

I do not see it going out of use in the near or far near future en masse,
yet there are already many males who pee sitting down.

The threat these to the general public is that people are carrying their personal communications devices
into toilets. A whole new little emerging ..health issue :erm:

You suspect they will start playing angry turds?

I'm pretty sure that for the majority of men, their penis is cleaner than their hands. Shower in morning, put it in your pants and that's it. Your hands, they're touching everywhere.

i wonder about this planet sometimes :erm:

how does this topic come up in discussion? this is what happens when you have a great society, you run out of problems to fix :(
