General coffee thread

I packed up my bean to cup DeLonghi and put it in storage the other day. Hadn't used it since June and it was taking up valuable counter space. The only time I really miss coffee is when I go out for breakfast. There really isn't another suitable hot beverage so I end up having a coke.

What coffee style can I try next?
I usually just get a flat white which should be 2 shots in small cup but everything is just tasting like milk lately except for Bootlegger and funny enough Woolworths. At work I just add some milk to double espresso.

Yup, I mean now and then I'll go to starbucks but that's only because I get it for free from fnb via ebucks rewards.

Have you tried a cortado? Could be similar to what you get at work, depending on how much milk you add.
 
They are stepping on our beans!!!! This needs to end. I am drinking that.

Finally... semi-good coffee for me. My old plunger/burr grinder method was okay but a machine is so much easier.

Done the same with my Nespresso machine. Have not used it for almost a year now. Just went off it. I need to get a bean to cup.

I was Bootlegger yesterday. Ordered something and man... it was terrible. They couldn't touch Starbucks from 1000Km away lol.

We have a similar one at the office. they not bad machines. You can also rent them from Aquazania etc.

Yes totally manual that one.
I just upgraded my F70 & had a good run out of it - 14 years, 1 grinder & a brew unit & a logic board replacement in that time, still working but decided to upgrade as i'm not going to spend anymore on it.
The newer ones definitely brew a better coffee but the price tag is also up there.
