I don't mind updating it :) Have you noticed the amount of threads asking which graphics card to buy? :eek: Would save us a bit of effort to have it in the FAQ :p

Well if you're prepared to keep updating it with the list of best current GFX cards then go for it, I'm sure quite a few forumites will help out. (I'm not really foloowing the GFX card scene ATM)

I'll consider it, with the first post already maxed out it'll be quite a bit of effort to have everything shuffled into the correct order :o

Maybe just post "Go 8800GT" at the end? :p
 
i need to know how to repair my laptop keypad!beer fell on it and its not workin. anymore. i took it off and left it in the sun. this did not work to??:-).
 
Should you encounter this error during windows installation on a pc make sure your SATA config is set to ide if you don't intend on using RAID.

I see no reference on the forum on this, so here it is...

best free encoder out there

ok there are so many threads dedicated to this.Al i ask is what is the fastest and noob friendly encoder out there and can virtualy encode to many formats.

I use mediacoder but it is really slow and the fastest one i came across is x video convertor,but sadly its not workng anyore,It stucks on 0%:mad: for everything.

So no others out there in cyberspace:confused:

My games are running slowly, even though I have a decent PC. What's wrong?
a)Install the latest drivers for your motherboard and graphics card.
b)Disable any programs running in the background, such as anti-virus scanners.
c)Check for overheating

Nice FAQ bru ... could you maybe add a 'd' because another reason is onboard audio/lan being on the blink. Happened to me recently ... learnt a power surge can apparently put them out of tweak without you realizing. :D
