Pricey. Although entirely worth it. ;)

PS42C430 has been seen for as little as R4,800.

PS50C450 for R7,999.
 
Tafelberg Furnishers in Cape Town, last I heard.

You can take their price to Game anywhere in SA and they will beat it.

You will always want bigger. How big is your lounge/living area? If it's around 6 x 6, then 50" will be fine.
 
govan mani had the ps42c430 for R4999 yesterday. Dont know if the special is still running today.
So with a price beat from Game you would get it R4899

I know, I'm just trying to account for the low price of R4,800 which was mentioned on these forums. :)

R4,999 is a great price, I think you should go for it.

Excuse my ignorance on the above measurements which side is the side you sit and watch from? 6m or 3.5m? Hope my question makes sense.

I measured my lounge and it measured 3.2m from where the t.v. will be mounted to where I'll be sitting. I'm looking to buy a 50". Thought this was enough?

Yup, viewing distance of 3.5m. As PP says, 50" more than fine.
