I can't agree with the statement you +1'ed. Plasma buzz should not be audible from 1m away. Who watches TV without any sound? It doesn't buzz when it's off. Next, you run no risk of burn-in on plasma, unless connected to a PC doing work repetitively where there are static images.
Not sure what the "looking out the window" comment means, but I wonder if they've seen the top range Panasonic Viera plasma.![]()
I was referring to the "window" analogy. To me, that refers to the fact that it's so thin and almost looks more like a portrait/window than a TV
