Yes do have glasses.
Regarding cables, HDMI v1.3 will work.
It comes down to this:
As you get get HD ready and FHD TV's, you also get 3D ready and F3DHD (Full HD 3D).
3D basically just splits yr image into 2, so its splits 1080p into two 720p pictures.
HDMI v1.3 can handle max 1080p 24p max or 3D 720p 24p.
This is the reason why PS3 can go 3D (HDMI v1.3).
Now there are not many 3D tv's out there that are F3DHD (probably very expensive). Here you will need HDMI v1.4 - that has data transfer rate twice the size of 1.3.

Yep, which is great - I always felt the bezel was rather too thick.

I phoned Cats Digital about the other site: samsumgshop.co.za - but they said the site is still new, and not finished. They also said that the new models were not in stock yet, and could not tell me when they would be available...

agreed! My wife didn't like the C450 because of it, but now...no more excuses!! ;D

Thats correct, hence it being 43", 51" etc etc.

Now that looks like a nice TV!
It costs about 1000 pounds in the UK, hopefully we can get it for less than R15k.

So went to Makro today and couldn't resist, picked up the PS50C430 for R6999 + HD PVR for R1399
Only moving in a few weeks so will be boxed till then
