Genuinely impressed with Telkom

I'm actually impressed with Telkom. I'm also shocked that they actually did well.

I went from ordering a phone line (Monday) to having the line and DSL installed in 4 days (today). The staff were courteous, helpful and knew everything they possibly could to help me.

Clearly I must have taken all the good staff so my apologies to anyone who got left high and dry during that time ;)

Crazy.

Even a broken clock gets it right twice a day.

Well Anti I called them on the 7th, gave them a call in that week had it "escalated" then called this past Monday I think and had it "escalated" again. Then I got a call from a guy saying they were working on some project at the exchange and that I will receive a call within 7 days.

I am far too busy to be worrying about ADSL now so if they call me I'll be happy, not gonna chase after them.
 
Yisheng Jiang could mean Doctor Jiang (medical), assume Yisheng's not his name but chinese phonetics for title.
 
i must admit that i'm very impressed with telkoms service. got adsl within 1 and a half days:) thats everything:)

Well as they say, if they can just make one person happy.... someone has slipped up badly :)
 
I think they start feeling the pressure from other companies that is also in the game now.

Why NOW? Why only start performing now. Many, many crappy service years have passed and NOW they pull up their socks.

Could it be just because of compitition??

Could it be because they know we hate them so! :)

Could it be because they know they are a bruising monopoly with no call to morality?

Could it be because once a customer unlikely not to be a customer (in their monopolistic position?)

Could it be because they have so much money they think a little service can do no harm?

Could it be because without us they have nothing with no hope for the future?

Could it be they are running scared! :D

Okay I'll stop there. Lots more on that list!?
 
Well Im not getting any service from them. I just need someone to change the freakin and enable my line, is that so hard to do? Could bonobo_slr maybe just sort this out for me? I mean I took SIO and Im waiting more than 10 days and to top it off I can see the exchange from where I live. :(
