George Floyd death

So is he asking the Governors to "dominate" the protestors with flowers?

What is he asking the Governors to do?

I see you creating straw men and doing some twisting. Still not seeing where Trump is threatening lawful protesting.

It is ok to say you were mistaken. You know blinkers and all.

He's talking about the rioters. Are you suggesting stealing, arson and attempted murder in some cases shouldn't be criminal offences?

As far as I can see buka is saying that Trump wants to crack down on the peaceful protesters. That is the story mass media are feeding people. So it is understandable that buka will believe it.

How do the police identify the criminals inside a mass group of protestors? How do you pull them out, without harming the peaceful protestors?

Biden condemns Trump's response to unrest
The presumptive Democratic nominee promised that if elected president, he 'won't traffic in fear and division' nor 'fan the flames of hate'

Seems like a prophecy

How do the Governors separate peaceful protestors from criminals?

What does Trump want then to do?

Going with the deflecting now.

Let's first see you back up your original claim.

Once you do that or admit you are mistaken, I will point out the 100's of videos of people burning, breaking, looting, and assaulting.

I thought you were smarter than this.

You observe. The criminal justice system requires you to break a law to be prosecuted. If anyone is being prosecuted without disobeying direct police instruction and without breaking any laws go fight it in court. In a situation like this this is possible but that's why the criminal justice system exists. It's not perfect but fight it in court.

What does Trump want the Governors to do? In real practical terms?

How must they dominate a faceless group, hidden amongst peaceful protestors?

Why did they teargas peaceful protestors outside the Whitehouse?

Lol you clearly missed the whole point of these protests.

1000's of people have been arrested. So the Governors are doing something.

But what does Trump want them to do and how must they dominate?

Remember when the left cared about social distancing?

‘To all the jackasses out there who we now have to carry—get with the program,” Gov. Phil Murphy fulminated on Twitter April 6. “We know who you are and we will not relent until we have 100% compliance.” On May 2 he added: “ATTN KNUCKLEHEADS: KEEP A SAFE DISTANCE #FlattenTheCurve.”

But New Jersey relented on Saturday as thousands massed in the streets of Newark, the state’s most populous city. While many protesters did avail themselves of masks, standing 6 feet apart—as per the state’s oft-repeated guidelines—was impossible. Mr. Murphy’s prohibition on “outdoor gatherings” was still in effect, although on May 22 he increased the limit to 25 people from 10. And a variation of Mayor Ras Baraka’s “shelter in place” order was still in effect in the city—as recently as last Wednesday the mayor’s office issued a press release imploring residents, “We still have to stay inside and stay alive.”

“This is a violation, but we’re doing it anyway,” Mr. Baraka told me Saturday when I asked if Newark’s emergency order was still legally binding. Is a huge, unwieldy assembly in the streets of a city with 585 reported Covid-19 deaths a good way to promote social distancing? “It’s not,” he conceded.

Mr. Baraka wasn’t merely a concerned observer. He marched prominently through the streets in the protest procession, and addressed the subsequent rally at Springfield Avenue. Donning an N95 mask, he stood at attention as the chief organizer, Larry Hamm, called for a “citizen’s arrest” of Donald Trump on the grounds that the president had allied with “the white supremacist movement in America.” Mr. Hamm, who was state chairman for the Bernie Sanders 2020 campaign, is challenging Sen. Cory Booker in the July 7 Democratic primary.

George Orwell's Animal Farm comes to mind...

I don't understand burning stuff and looting at all no. I'm a civilised human being who shows empathy for other people, their work and their stuff.

I've never mentioned anything against peaceful protests and neither has the president of the USA.

A picture taken after the police dispersed peaceful protestors away from his path, using teargas, is not listening. That's fanning the flames and shows that he favours an authoritative means. He went to the church to signal his bible belt followers. Which prominent leader did he meet?

Listening to key figures from the communities, showing empathy will get them to come out and start bringing the legitimate protestors in.

The criminal elements will whither away, no longer emboldened by the crowds to hide amongst.

Shooting everyone will lead to indiscriminate killing of peaceful protestors. It will escalate even further.

You think Trump should stand in front of a riotous crowd which injured 50 Secret Service officers to listen to them? Really, stop for one minute and just think about the nonsense that you are typing.

You don't protect private property by trying to talk to rioters. You don't try and stop a surging mob by trying to reason with them. A show of force is required. A measured response with people who can remain calm under pressure will be required.

This is beyond wishful thinking, buka. You really are so out of touch. For someone who lived in the middle of a slum for a year, you really seem to not know how naturally violent people can be, especially in crowds.

When a violent mob is outside your door, and trying to set your home on fire while you are in it, I am sure you are going to want your local politician to talk those people down.

I am supposed to twist Trumps words into what you think he meant (not what he actually said).

it has alot to do with the justice system that doesn't work the way you laid out.

bit also there is alot of evidence of peaceful protestors being pepper sprayed by the police.

and yes their are plenty of people taking advantage of the protest to loot and damage property.

The point is if you going to treat everyone like a looter even when they not and provoke them that nice justice system doesn't work especially when it's corrupt.

So you want them to shoot?

What bullets will they use that are able to not hurt peaceful protestors, but hurt the criminals?

What should they do, that does not harm peaceful protestors?
