Rioters are the problem, bring out the guns and shoot the marauding f-rs..... no rioters no problem.

If their targets were solely guilty intitutions no one would have a problem with them. However they also destroy or loot anything of value within the vicinity regardless of who it belongs to.... and they randomly assault people that resist beating them to bloody pulps.... so shoot the f-rs. You don't quell a mob by being nice, you quell it by attacking it.

You made some personal statements seeking some sort of validation, now you want to cry foul when your BS is pointed out? maybe come down from your Ivory Tower first.

1) He didn't make any points whatsoever. In order of what he said to me: I am panicking, I am pearl clutching and I am angry. There is no logic, no points, nothing. I wasn't even engaging with him, and my post triggered him in some way, because it struck some kind of cognitive dissonance chord. The current cultural status quo cannot remain. If we have to live together in peace, we need to drop the racialisation of everything.
2) If you are going to tell people to come down from their ivory tower, maybe you should take your own advise first.

But I don't really expect you to see any irony in this.

Trump himself.
You'd think a president would seek to first get to the bottom of the issue by speaking with local government reps whether they be from the party who elected him or not.
The same president who ask the DOJ and FBI to investigate? Which has now found that the policeman's knee was not the cause but instead the man's underlying heart condition under stress? Almost like the media has aggravated this whole situation because they know it'll give them bumps in viewership.

I'd not call his tweets calling for citizens to be shot if they riot quiet. That was before the looting and riot got to this stage - it was just threats as far as I'm aware and some build up of anger.

It is not his responsibility but his reactions and public statements don't help them do their work.

Same as above, they seem to try quell the riots without calling for national guard and machine guns as a first response. Unlike Trump.

Trump was not calling for anyone to be shot.

You understand that the National Guard had to be deployed into Minnesota to quell the riots, right? So the remedy he was advocating actually worked. Maybe it it was deployed sooner there would have been less damage.

Do you hold the people who were cheering the riots on accountable in any shape or form? Or just Trump?

He'd probably still be alive if he'd not had a run in with the police.

I think some of the rioting is a race knee jerk reaction by extreme types on the left. Trump's perceived racism is some sort of red flag to their bulls. The reaction just seems a bit disproportionate to me.

Were these violent protesters dealing with non violent cops?

Now you say, "no".
Wait...are we pretending these protesters began rioting because of...riot police?
What came first, in your head, the riots or the riot police?

Wonder what caused that stress. Are the toxicology reports available yet?

A knee that has been found to not have killed the man.

I ask again, if I (protesters) hit (rioting) you (society) in the face, what do you do?

I have a feeling you're in the Minneapolis Mayoral school of, "let them do what they want".

These riots must be stopped. How do you stop them.

Cool, when did they have the court case that found him not guilty?

He just happened to die from something else, when a policeman held his knee to his throat for 9 minutes after begging that he could not breathe.

Riots can be stopped. Leadership with empathy, from the top is where it starts.

Haven't seen anything that counts as leadership yet.

Read post #1 of the thread and you will get your answer. Besides, plenty of videos doing the rounds where non violent protesters/people have been met by violent police.

You're definitely onto something here regarding bricks peggie boy, it must be the Russians. Couldn't possibly be construction in a city.

Unhappy, there are reports coming in that people were seen driving in bricks and placing them on site hours before violence broke out. There are videos here of people driving around handing out bricks.

I agree but I still mostly blame the media for this rubbish. Any other country, the story headline would've been "cop kills man", but instead it was made into "white cop kills black man". They knew what they were doing, and they wanted it to be seen as a racial killing. Never mind that there is zero evidence that this dbag cop did any of this because of race.

When they rioted at Kusile Power Station back in 2012, someone pre-placed the bricks for the protestors to throw at us.

Coincidentally the bricks may have been intended to be used for a building ...

Me? I am not the one acting all sanctimonious about it.

So your answer to racial issues is to pretend racial issues dont exist? Seems to have done a great job.

That's not what I said. When you are ready to engage in some sort of good faith we can talk, ok?
