Sorry, wrong.

The Southern States succeeded because they wanted to maintain slavery as an institution, after the mostly Northern states began moving to abolish it.

Slavery as a reason for the succession was cited by all states that succeeded, i.e. before the war.

This led to the war. Lincoln was President of the USA and fought to defend the Union.

The looters don't change the fact of the systematic problems the police have in the US. If you are triggered by that you would be super triggered if you see what the lady says in the last couple minutes of the video.

You are confusing moral reasons with legal ones. Also the prohibition on new slaves (which is entirely different to a prohibition on any slaves) was just ONE of the reasons not the sole reason.

The Union did not need defending, unless you want to make it a religion.

EDIT: btw you seem to have missed the Athens comparison I threw in there.... Athens also "needed to defend the alliance"

If nobody else wants to admit that we have no clear racial motive then can't I forget about the cop ?
Like I said before , best I can do is the cop "contributed to" his death .

Just like the criminal scum that stabbed that doctor in Tulbagh only contributed to his death? And I have never said the cops motive was racial, it might have been, or he might just have been a scummy dirty cop, only he will know. But you for some reason are insistent on your defense of what is a criminal, a murderer.

The Southern States feared a destruction of their economy if slavery was banned.

Through the Missouri Compromise, Southern States were free to bring in new slaves.

Slavery was already illegal in many Northern states. Lincoln was elected on a big anti-slavery basis.

As with a majority of your posts, I find myself not at all surprised with your views on Lincoln here

You fail to bring up anything actually forcing the North to keep the South integrated, by violence no less. The one time the South actually invaded the North it was to attempt to force Lincoln to negotiate.

You keep attempting to ignore the legalities by overriding them with moralities.... The North had no actual right to force the South to stay other than feels. This set up murican imperial thinking for the next century, murica feels it's right so it is.

Your feeling is BS, I just don't like criminals, especially violent ones. And this cop is nothing other than a criminal. He is no better than the criminal he executed on a street side.

True enough, I just question the way you kneejerk respond to corrupt cops. It's how something gets said more than what gets said that matters more sometimes.

What legal right did the South have to succeed?

Yes they invaded and those losers got beat back.
