So the protesters are calling for the disbanding and defunding of the police now. So what will they rely on Batman for law and order now?
South Africa’s biggest forum. Discuss, discover, and connect with thousands of members.
Exactly, automatically assuming that someone revising something is doing so for mischief is ridiculously paranoid.
Honestly, if statues are of genuinely evil people like Albert Pike I'm all for it.... but at the same time it's not up to me what statues other people want to display.
Theres always loosing your temper and doing something stupid, cops are human too not robots.
That does not mean he should not be punished for the results of what he did. All that is for the courts though.
You appear to have a reading issue.
I have already condemned the cop and Floyd , both were at fault .
Your insistence on not understanding is saying a lot.
If video footage looks like defense to you then that is an issue YOU have.you say this
and then go on to say this
Sounds like a defense to me

It was not the genuinely principle reason for it no. The real reason was the same for Texas seceding from Mexico.... exactly the same reason. A distant aloof government that makes decisions for the locals on their behalf."The civil war was not fought over slavery" is a sentence typed an posted minutes ago, but go on...
Yes, stupid things killing people happens all the time.Something stupid that ended someones life.
I don't care what you think you believe.@buka001
If you bothered to actually ask I could have told you I don't morally support the South for anything they did other than shoot fort sumpter into leaving after asking nicely did not do the trick.
But noooooo you rant and rave about slavery as if it actually mattered to what I said because all you have is one-sided propaganda. You cannot believe anyone can evaluate something without picking a side because you yourself are incapable of real objectivity it seems.
The cop "contributed to" it , along with the meth ,fentanyl and his health conditions.Something stupid that ended someones life.
You say that in one post, and in the next 20 you insist that the cop didn't cause his death.
He is obviously gaslighting you.If he resisted before putting him into the car, why take him out again? The fact that you are this insistent on the cops innocents says much more than you realize.

Unless you got evidence that the cop forced them drugs into him and caused his health conditions ?
Contributed to ,as in played a part but not wholely responsible for.
Clearly, you are much more of an expert on what I believe than I amI don't care what you think you believe.
Nonsense, you disagree with my opinion and instead of staying rational attack me with emotionalisms as if that kind of bullying is virtuous in some way.The fact that you are arguing on a false premises for the causes for the Civil War, which have been debunked by all legitimate Civil War historians is something which I will address.
1st part , intent is the key.Let's take that doctor that was killed, the guys breaking in did something stupid, then the guy maybe resisted (conjecture) and they stabbed him. Do you agree it was a stupid mistake (maybe it was young kids, I don't know) or do you agree that it's completely criminal and that they should've been able to foresee the consequences of their action? Just like maybe this cop should've foreseen that keeping your knee with you whole body weight on a persons neck could kill him?
Mainly caused, not only contributed. Or mostly responsible if you want, at the minimum.
When someone accuses someone of being stupid in a burst of anger.... how exactly does he also accuse him of being completely rational?Let's take that doctor that was killed, the guys breaking in did something stupid, then the guy maybe resisted (conjecture) and they stabbed him. The Cornerstone Speech, also known as the Cornerstone Address, was an oration given by Confederate Vice President Alexander H. Stephens at the Athenaeum in Savannah, Georgia, on March 21, 1861,[1] delivered extemporaneously a few weeks before the Civil War began with the Confederate attack on Fort Sumter.
"Our new government['s] foundations are laid, its cornerstone rests, upon the great truth that the negro is not equal to the white man."
]ts foundations are laid, its cornerstone rests upon the great truth, that the negro is not equal to the white man; that slavery—subordination to the superior race—is his natural and normal condition. This, our new government, is the first, in the history of the world, based upon this great physical, philosophical, and moral truth
