George Foreman Grill

Great for hamburger patties, well better than frying them but not as good as braaing them. I don't know if I would use them for steak, maybe minute steak. It is great for toasted sandwiches, bacon, or pretty much anything you might shallow fry.

Ours works wonderfully for steaks, jobs etc...

I use mine for toasted sammies... its better than normal toasties because it doesn't try make them in to a triangle shape.

Which one do you have?

I have this one (the cheap one):

It's extremely easy to clean, I just use a soft damp cloth soaked in hot water. No soap or anything.

I don't know if I got a dud or something but I hate the damn thing, it is flimsy hard to clean and doesn't make such great steak. Haven't used it in months.

seems it isn't just me :/

The trick is to clean it immediately after its cooled off a bit. I grilled steak with marinade on it and the burnt marinade just came right off with a few wipes.

Mine is still brand new so the non-stick surface is still very effective, but if you keep it in good condition and don't scratch it up it should last quite a while.

i have the exact same one , it would have been cool if you could remove the non stick plates (like clip them off) and wash them and put them back.
