Germany vs England

No capello is too blame without a doubt.

He is a negative defensive coach and honestly it does not help england to try and play like the italians. There is no pace in their team, they have no wingers who can get in behind and cause problems.

what are lennon and shaun wright doing on the bench? Capello is one of those rubbish defensive italian coaches who should just stick to serie A or coach the italian team.

the ref was bad with both sides, he denied england a goal and he denied Germany a corner kick for deflection.

still, 4-1 ( would have been 4-2 )

germany just pwned this game, they owned england from the word go. england played poorly and deserve the ticket home.

There's always the chance that Lampard's goal could've swung the game, it was after all the equaliser. But England were hands down outplayed in the 2nd half. End of the day Germany deserved to go through and I'm glad they did as they are the better team and play very attractive football.

Lampard's goal only counts as a half a goal anyway, the better team won. England were an over-hyped team with an overpaid coach, good riddance!

The fact is it never counted and england had a full half to win the game or go out. Blaming that goal is rubbish.

I am also glad another defensive team are out. Next up brazil to go out to chile.

I suggest the team apply for immigration permits if they want to avoid the ire of the England public. Hell, they might have to change names and have facial surgery while they're at it.

agreed, i also have no respect for a team that doesnt play flat out till the end...the last 10 minutes they were not bothering at all...even if you are gettting hammered...you play flatout..

Not blaming the goal at all mate. As I said, Germany deserved to win and I'm glad they did.

Germany even had some fun at the end having the Brits chase after them while in full control, what a joke!

I think it doesn't help the Italians to play like the Italians;)

The people who are saying it would've been 4-2 are WRONG

Because of the disallowed goal, the entire English were up front and attacking, which left them vulnerable to counter-attack - that's why Germany got two goals. If it was 2-2, England would've had a more sensible formation. I'm not sure how Killadoob can say England were a defensive team in this particular match - the 2 goals in the second half were because of the lack of defenders at the back for England because they up there trying to get a goal for England.

Didn't England have quite a good run during WC qualifiers? I remember them looking very promising under then the newly appointed Capello.
