Get ready for Vista

Oh yeah I can't wait to give microsoft the power to decide what content I can and cannot watch and what quality it should play at. Add that to its sad feature list and ridiculous price and I can see no reason to bother with it, even if I were a windows user.

I received my business edition in the latest action pack on Friday last week. I installed it on my notebook last Sunday and all is good.

It was a seamless install with the only problem being locating drivers for my GeForce 7600. A quick Google found the drivers I needed and all is up and running. No need to install the toshiba wireless drivers, bluetooth, card reader, etc... All worked straight after install.

Overall... So far I am loving it. They have moved things around a bit so still need to get familar with the UI, but otherwise it rocks. Very very solid.

yay im so happy finally direct X 10!!!! and it works better!

With the current state of Vista graphics drivers, I find that hard to believe. My games all run terribly in Vista.

But hopefully that will change when NVIDIA release proper drivers this week.

what vga card do you run on vista?

Even me, as an ATI user am having a really bad Vista experience with gaming.

I usually get about 120FPS in XP with CS:Source, but in Vista I dropped as low as 20FPS

(Im Running a Sapphire X1800 XT 512mb)
