My quad core with 2GB and 9600GT is too crap? that explains why Windows runs so crappy then.

This XP peep has no problem with Vista on high-end units, but has a huge bitch about the uninformed public who are persuaded to buy it on a celeron pc with 512 Mg Ram and then expect me to ' make it faster ' !

If that cannot run vista then your just talkin nonsense :)

I have seen a 2180 with 2 of memory and 9600gso run vista very well and fast indeed.

Maybe you bought one of those 399 mobo's :p

Ya daveza that is also true but remember that system would not run xp all that well either, running xp with 512 meg of ram is nothing short of horrible. Xp for me needs a minimum of 1 gig memory, vista 2 gig and considering ram pricing i don't that is to bad.
 
erm.. u forget about the slower FPS in games, last but not least.. many Pc companies are now shipping their pc's with a virus..called Vista

2.AMD vs Intel
3.Nvidia vs ATI

Should keep us busy for couple of mellinia. :)

wonder if u could possibly repeat that in english
i doubt u could find one benchmark of a game that would run vista faster than windows xp patched to sp3.....
