Getaway Computers legit?

I assumed it was from SA, they list their physical address as:

150 Buitekant St,
Protea Hoogte,
Cape Town, 7560,
South Africa

on the contact page? If you're referring to the .tk in the URL then I understand where you're coming from because that's weirding me out as well.

Yes they are legit.

Most of time they list specials from other retailers and just add a markup.

So most of the stock can just be bought from the original retailer for less. They list wootware stock etc.

I'm only upgrading in a few months time and I'm just trying to keep my options open, and I wanted to know if I should consider them as a viable option when choosing which store to buy new hardware from.

Hi, Hendri here from Getaway Computers, we are a 'legit' Online Computer Store based in Brackenfell Protea Heights. We use a .tk domain and Wix free website to lower our overheads and to be able to give lower prices.

We mainly use our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/getawaycomputers, as it contains most of our previously sold products and has customer review to show our legitimacy.

We are also registered on Google Maps: https://www.google.co.za/maps/place...7833a073010c0417!8m2!3d-33.894167!4d18.697455.

We are the sister company of Getaway Africa: www.getawayafrica.com or www.facebook.com/GetawayAfricaTravel
We are still a starter company and we try our best to put ourselves out there - we will be getting our own .co.za domain soon.
We currently do most of our advertising on Gumtree: https://www.gumtree.co.za/u-seller-listings/getaway-computers/v1u100300071p1, once again to insure less overheads and to deliver the best prices.

You are welcome to schedule a meeting with us to come and see our offices or contact us via email: [email protected], if you have any other questions. Hopefully I have answered all your question and any confusion about us.

If any random garden services can register one, then an online retailer that makes more profits (or supposedly) should be able to afford a proper .co.za / .com domain
