How does one receive all these Telkom info updates ? -- become a shareholder ? -- ICT "Journalist" ? -- have a corporate account with them ?

You don't, the only stuff you get access to is that which is publicly available. The only real other alternatives is that you work for them or you know people higher up in the ranks you can trust as a source.

I spoke to some of my buddies that still work there. They have been tied up with an Electronic Communications Policy that forbids them to interact on any forum or to discuss any business issues with any form of media without the direct approval of top management. Non-compliance = dismissal.

This is absolutely so stupid and shortsighted.

So anyway WHERE & WHAT are the "appointed" talkiing heads of Telkom doing then ?????

This is true. This ruined the friendship between me and some of my ex-colleagues when they found out I was active on this and other telecommunications liberation forums.
