I am going to throw in the towel with openbrowse very soon. very tired of the modem speeds (if even that) and not even being able to sign into MSN Messenger (even though it says the proxy is working).

From what I can see only nukecap have an international proxy solution for IS accounts. All i want is fast international browsing and MSN once I go over my international portion of my 2GB IS account. What are the options guys...?

I don't think there are other options - except if you buy two accounts and do the routing yourself.
Which would be cool - if RASPPOE (or whatever it's called) didn't screw up your network and if there was a better program than routesentry, which bombed on me quite a bit...

*edit* I would looove dial-up speeds! Getting around 0.01KB/sec on intl.

Mine got sorted out - it's fast again! :)
The thing with openbrowse is - although the speeds are very erratic, and it dies every now and again it always gets fixed. And...there aren't good alternatives that I know of.

Anyone have experience with nukecap? Their website looks a bit dodgy :p

The openbrowse speeds seem to fluctuate throughout the month, but its normally usable..I dont think there is a better local alternative. I do wish the msn proxy was more stable since its the only im client most of my overseas contacts use:mad: It's really slow, takes a few tries to sign in (if it will at all), and half of my messages i send and get sent don't get through during the evenings:rolleyes:

My openbrowse is flying today! Sites load almost instantly! Its great!

at least openweb is trying to lighten the blow.

it's flying today cos there was a "change" done which should have affected users....mine went from being dead to working all round...result.

that's what I like about openweb.

when there is a problem mrbeep will always try and sort it out.

keep it up mrbeep!!
