hi all ,,

i know this might seem a bit of a stupid question to some

but im looking into getting an internet connection at home , Telkom advised me that my area has a 4mb VDSL line

so what i would like to know is :

when i go through MWEB , do i need to still add a line with my subscription or not?

thanks all :D:)

everywhere i go though people say Tekom is a crap ISP , hense my interest in MWEB ( although they go through telkom anyways :/ )

i see they also have LTE connections

any suggestions on that ,

would LTE connections not be easier way to go compared to ADSL ( i am refering to the 50GB uncapped package with Telkom)

Telkom works just fine, I use it everyday without any problem. Mostly gaming and streaming.

Telkom can also offer you deals that includes analog line rental, no other ISP can offer that.

You can get 4mps uncapped all inclusive for R599 or 10mps for R799. It comes with 5gb mobile data sim and mifi device also. (5gb for 10mps, 2gb for 4mps I think)

R599 and R799 would be your total bill for the month.
