Getting better sleep

Probably need to try for yourself. CBD/ THC products don't do a thing for me... actually makes it worse.

Sceletium, L-theanine are both decent.
I'm seeing many good reviews on the 1:12 sativa oil so definitely will have to try for myself, I've tried the CBD/CBN and definitely felt the calming, uplifting of the CBD but not so much the CBN for sleep probably cause im on alprazolam.

Also reading very good things on the sceletium extract so going to probably order both of these.

Got the humidifier attachment for the CPAP machine. That along with this mask is pretty good. Didn't think the humidifier would make a big difference given that it's quite humid already, but my nose felt happier this morning.

Losing about 14kg did wonders for waking up from snoring.
I still get the occasional days of too much stress where I then wake up at whatever hour and cannot sleep.

Though I think they're generally focused more on sleep apnea, at the initial consult they say that if they don't find sleep apnea they will refer to CBT specialist or suggest relevant treatment. Either way I suggest phoning them and asking if you can have a chat over the phone about what your issue is. First time I called them I was on the phone for a good 15 minutes going over my issues, them asking questions, me asking questions etc. At least at the end of that call you'll know whether a place like this is suited to you.
I am at the point where I need help. Getting very little value out of sleep, snoring so loud I have to sleep on a different level of the house to the rest of my family. Its aweful. Were you happy in retrospect with this provider? Any advice to anyone starting this ball rolling?

I haven't read the whole thread, so maybe it's been suggested, but I've been taking magnesium threonate for a couple of months now and I'm convinced it helps me sleep better. I take an hour before bed.

Best thing is to call them and just say you'd like to talk to someone to find out more about the process. Can ask them any questions you might have. My hospital plan covered the two nights (a few weeks apart) sleep study. First time you're just sleeping hooked up to sensors, second time you're hooked up but also using cpap machine. You then get referred to a place where you can buy the cpap machine.

I had no issues with the provider. They also got on Discovery's case when Discovery weren't paying out the agreed cover and got them to pay. Friendly and helpful as well.

Some people get immediate results from cpap. Other people it can take a while for the habit of waking up / insomnia to slowly break. I feel like I'm in this latter category so it's one of those things I just need to commit to and not judge it by how good my sleep was last night. But the specifics of cpap can wait. Speak to them, get the study done and take it from there.
