What is R60 anyway? It is something I am quite willing to pay for peace of mind and even though I will only be playing wow again 2 weeks after the launch, I still think it is money well spend...

Personally I'd feel better having the box in hand if worst comes to worst, but I hear you - R60 isn't worth splitting hairs over - especially for those in the bigger cities considering travel time etc. Us small town folk can get to BT Games in 5mins without traffic or parking issues (free parking).

Instead of purchasing Cataclysm directly from Blizzard at about R60 more than what stores are selling it for, you can also download that last 700mb right now - without paying premium.

1. Close World of Warcraft and/or the launcher and background downloader.
2. Open your World of Warcraft folder, eg: C:\Games\World of Warcraft\WTF\
3. Edit Launcher.wtf and change the "accountType" line from LK to CT.
4. Edit Config.wtf and change the "accountType" line from LK to CT.

The last 700mb will start downloading.
Get a friend to pick up your box from the midnight Launch and mms your cdkey to you to get going immediately.
