Getting dc from WOW frequently

also on neotel - up until this past weekend was just peachy but then Saturday came around and i was getting dc'd like nobodies business. Sunday seemed better... I blame the snow:)
 
Having exactly the same issue with constant and continuous DC's playing WOW since 3.0.8 using MTN with E220 modem.
It must be a combination of something Blizzard changed in 3.0.8 and something that was always there in MTN's network that now just doesn't agree with WOW 3.0.8. Or MTN changed something on their network at exactly the same time 3.0.8 came out!
Have complained to MTN and Blizzard. Neither have a clue! :(
Fortunately for me, my Vodacom back up sim is now completely playable with WOW getting +- 450ms latency with it, where previously it ranged from 250ms to 8,000ms!
Still would be nice to be able to use my MTN account for what i actually bought it for!

Finally got a reply from my 2 complaints to Blizzard..., just an automated reply asking me if I still have the connection problem!!! Damn bastards have done nothing in the past month and were just hoping that it would fix itself!
 
Yeaup, it seems to be quite definitely an MTN thing. Decided to try out a prepaid vodacom sim after I was having the same issues, and viola - no more D/C's :)

Oh well, only 2 more sleeps to ADSL again anyways, weee!
 
Also applied for ADSL now.

Since this 3.0.8 and MTN DC issue started i've only done 2 HC runs and no riads :(

Will still be a month or so using MTN 3G but its giving me a chance to lvl up some of my Alts. :)

It cant be patch 3.0.8 because a friend of mine playes on a private server that still uses 2.4.3 and he also gets the dc's... oh and yeah he also have mtn...
 
Since Saturday DC issues in WOW using MTN connection has stopped, so it should be back to normal. :)
