Getting HTC Desire

Where in the Northen suburbs of Cape Town can I get a HTC Desire on Contract? : I am waiting nearly 2 months for one to be in stock . No luck at MTN or Vodacom N1 City or Tygervalley


UPDATE: Got mine today (18-5-2010) at Cellucity NI City Mall. Very Good service.

I was in Canal Walk's Vodashop yesterday and the salesman said that they will be receiving stock this week.

went to the city (picbell parkade) vodaworld on the 7th and ordered mine. Received it on wednesday. Just place an order, get your papers done and you should have one soon methinks.

I went into MTN in PE (Cape Road) for my upgrade on Monday 10th of May. I received the Desire over the counter, immediately.

I ordered mine from them too on wednesday,they said they are waiting on stock.Do you think I'll get it this coming week?

Hard to say really. Think a lot of us were lucky to be first on the ball with voda. Seems if you catch them just as they get their new deals/brochures then you stand a good chance of getting the phone. Unfortunately I wouldn't be suprised if their initial stock has already been gobbled up by the early adopters.

What I really would like to find is a good docking station for the phone (one for at home and another for at work). Anybody got a good idea where to get one locally?

I've seen official HTC charging docks for the Desire advertised overseas. They look quite sexy, I'm thinking of getting one myself. When I last spoke to the people at lab88, they said they would be getting accessories the beginning of June or there abouts.

I was waiting 3 weeks to get mine and today they phoned to say it arrived, but when i went to get it with a contract, they said i do not qualify to get talk packages or above top up 135. SO if i take it on the top up 135 i have to pay 4500 in. the guy never said that if i want to upgrade it can only be with these contracts. now i have to wait 7 months for them to credit worthy me. what the fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuukkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk is up with that.
