I was referring to them irritating the exit - IIRC they absorb allot of the Capsaicin from the chili and since we cant digest the actual seeds they cause burning on exit.
Yeah, they're covered in cellulose so can pass through with the cellulose intact. In which case they make no contact. If they're broken down a little then sure, it might (and again, might) burn, but you have to eat a really large dose of them to make that much of a difference. An ordinary curry? No, not likely to cause issues unless you have existing problems...
