Getting Neotel (Bedfordview)...why shouldn't I?

They know that, but there seems to be no upgrade procedure yet, you have to terminate the contract, and to justify that, they say that it's because you keep the phone.

I'm still waiting for an answer
 
Guys.. i just phoned neotel now -9pm- and am in the Houghton area. Paying an arm and leg for my telkom service and need to change over now. My area is rated for Prime:)

All i can say is the service was perfect, got my call answered in less the 10secs and the guy on the phone knew everything about the service and was really really helpfull.

Only problem is Number portability and surprise suprise its Telscum thats holding them back - as always they believe they above the law. So once thats sorted im swopping over to unlimited - speed and P2P is not so much of an issue so the package works 100s for me. cant wait:)

I'd tell them that they can come fetch the lite device if they want it back.
 
I don't know about that, but let me get back on the topic.
Neotel contacted me yesterday and today. They will offer me an upgrade termination fee-less, but I gotta get the device back. Good enough for me.

And I'm planning to cover my experience with them on PhoneReport
 
Would also like to know please guys. Im keen to get the prime if the speeds are between a solid 150k - 200k a sec..any feedback? Bump? lol

Robocop and others posted in the other thread that they get 100-150 KB/sec for torrents.
I can tell you that I get the full 115KB/sec on 1Mbs iBurst, so
if Neotel Prime is 2.6Mbit/sec, I'll be pleased.

Neotel do mention speeds of 300kbps-700kbps as average, but that
is probably for a single threaded download and they are
hopefully just being conservative, the way they also describe
their offering not as Broadband but as a High Speed Internet service.

Hopefully we'll get full or close to the full 325KB/sec from Neotel.
 
Well the speeds on the Lite device are terrible max around 20..
It'll take you around a day to download 1 gig.....

Rather sign-up for the Prime device, and get the 15 gig package..


Please tell me what area in Bedfordview you want me to test if the PRIME device works..
I will actually go check If you covered :)
