There was much less emphasis on PC gaming back then.I think I'm a significantly more laid-back individual
There's always time for gaming. Having an other half who loves gaming too just makes it all the sweeter![]()

Just by looking at my own kids I believe that I would have spent far more time gaming if I was a youngster today.
Even at work we did not have PC's yet (when I was 24), but 'dumb' terminals with 14" green screens!!

Almost double yours! So, how old is old?![]()
Almost double yours!
I'm beyond 45...So around 45 if "almost?"
That's not too shabby. You still have at least 30 years of gaming to do![]()

But, yeah, still gaming - FPS only. Currently CoD:MW2 and soon Black Ops.
Also going to give the MoH a go as I hear great things...
Remember that us oldies spent time in the SANDF and were highly trained killing machines!!!!I can't get into the FPS genre. I mean, I don't MIND it, it's just that by their definition they're all shooty-bang-bang and no substance. They bring a lot of innovation to the industry in regard to mechanics but as far as story goes... omfg kill me now...

I use gaming as stress relief - mindless, point 'n shoot and make big explosions and kill as many folks as you can! Play for an hour and then walk away...
Anyone remember Frakk and Chukie Egg on the BBC Micro?Monty's Revenge, original Prince of Persia, sadly my gaming only really started in the early 90s on the PC, I missed out on the C64 and Spectrum days, never had access to that tech back then.
