Getting Outlook to do email in Mint 16

I have installed Linux mint 16 and i have even successfully installed MS office 2007 through wine and playonlinux. Now when i open MS outlook, it loads completely, but when i try to open account settings, nothing opens up. I even tried to configure Outlook through first time wizard, but everything comes blank, i cannot setup anything over their.

Can someone please help to setup outlook correctly so i can configure my mail accounts with that?

As far as I know outlook is not fully supported yet in Linux. But try this.

You could try Crossover, it's a paid solution with a trial version. I had Outlook 2010 running using it when testing for Win XP replacements but was never really happy with the overall Office performance.

If they worked as they were supposed to...........my Thunderbird & Evolution contacts & calendar sync with my phone via Google but Google had authentication hiccups for days since Sunday until late last night. By around 11:30 pm, the problem was mysteriously solved. Also, both apps have their own quirks and are unreliable. I have been using them for years now and I am still experiencing issues, such as a calendar that inexplicably becomes read-only and with no way to cure that. Little bugs yet sabotaging workflow.
