getting payed for medical testing

When i was in the UK i remember reading an article about some dude that travelled around the world and he funded it by doing drug testing in all kinds of places. The cash may be good, but im not to keen to let someone use me as a guinea pig.

Wasn't aware this was done locally. When I first went to the UK a few years ago I needed some cash so signed up for a medical trial. Went in the next day for screening - blood, urine etc. After a week I get a call asking me to go back. Get there, they say the trial has been cancelled, but still gave each of us £500-600 for the 'inconvenience'. I was amazed they would give out cash for nothing like that. Was a good start :). Anywyay - that cash set me up ok so I never went back again. A guy who stayed with us literally hopped from trial to trial without ever doing a proper job - just some club dj'ing on the side. The live-in facilities at the trial centers were quite cool - pool tables, gaming consoles etc.

Hi I would like to know where I can do trials in Durban area and be paid for it please as I'm a single Mom who has been retrenched so need to try this. Thanks in advance.

I was under the impression that it was illegal to have paid medical trials in South Africa but I could be wrong.
 
Hi Guys, does anyone know of a place i could be paid for non invasive medical trials in Cape Town? if so and what is the website name?
Possibly just a pain killers etc
