getting payed for medical testing

Hi guys.

A couple of years back when I was a student I went to a place called FARMOVS in Bloemfontein. Its basically a medical center where they test pain killers you and you get paid.

I did a trail for 2 days and I got like R1300.

The reason I am posting this, do you guys know of a similar place in the PTA area?
 
they pay really really really good. and Its not really experimental medicine that could make you change sex or anything. Its mostly generic alternitives for aspirine, ect ect.

my one friend did a trail for 16weeks. All he had to do was go in once a day and drink one stupid pill. Occasionally they would test his blood, and he had to stay in for 24h during week 8.

He got payed R37000

I often hear about those things, all safe ect.

it does not affect you now, but in 40 years you wonder why your cock falls off. :sick:

I did a trial for them once. Got 5.6k. In the last month I've received over 10 sms's from them asking for me to attend a trial. Guess they're kinda desperate for people. Oh well. Studies are more important.

they tested my blood before the test, gave me one pill for each of the two days, and tested my blood again. I think the whole test lasted 2hrs.

Was some kind of asprin

Yikes!

I am sure I have seen ads similar to this one at UCT but the pay has never been great...
 
The pay goes up exponentially relative to the duration of the trail. Problem is, if you can't do the entire thing, you don't get paid and they can't use your data, hence the large sums of money to serve as motivation.

they normally give a list of side effects. Remember its normally the final stage testing, for minor drugs like asprin, ect.

The worst side effect ive seen on the list on one test was "possible temporarily swelling of male breasts" ROFL!
 
I wish i had a fourth testicle , I would be a testosterone pumped beast
 
It's very safe, except for that one time, i think 2 years ago, where a parexel trail in london went horribly wrong, 6 patients DIED! Eish...
 
My mother runs medical drug trials all over the world. Mainly for flu's hayfever and aids related drugs.. They are often looking for guinea pigs and pay quite well. I have really bad hayfever and would actually pay to go on one of these trials.. but alas, family members cannot participate.
