so my geyser max ha started doing this beeping thing, where the screen flashes all its digits and top right element light lao flashes green for about 2 seconds. thne everything back to normal for about a minute. This process goes on for maybe 10 minutes?
I think this occurs after power comes back on after load shedding.

Will keep an eye on it and try give more info when it happens again.

anyone know what this means?

No. didnt know there was a battery, but will have a look.
will also contact the manufacturer for help.

they reckon its a dry solder joint on 1 of the relays on the PCB. will resolder it in eh next few days.

Any idea what can cause these abnormal temp spikes for the collector probe? I'm running a geyerwise Delt T with circulation pump thermosyphon panel. Swopped out the board for the Tuya wifi pcb.

Asking on behalf of someone, they had the geyserwise solar conversion done, 3 panels installed with the mppt, control board, new element and a small user display control panel.

When Eskom is off during loadshedding the user control panel turns off, but what they want to know is if the panels are still supplying power to the geyser to heat it (obviously provided there is enough sunlight on the panels)

does anyone have a clear answer?

I will test it when I am there sometime by checking the temp before, manually turning off the geyser isolator for a while and then turning it back on to check the temperature on the user control panel but would like to know up front if anyone knows?

Easy to figure out , take note of temperature before and after loadsheding when there is good sunshine

As simple as the task was, I would have had to borrow a ladder to get into the roof.

What I did was switch off the morning times (was not really needed) and got rid of the issue that was.

Edit: if I remember correctly the issue I had only occurred in the morning. Hence just turning off the morning settings.
